The Starkey Synchronous Remote Programming (Live Sessions) service complies with Veterans Affairs federal regulations and user agreements. The Service is provided through a secure connection between Starkey’s Inspire X software and the Thrive Hearing Control app on the patient’s smartphone. Authentication is required for all components of the connection and all data transferred is encrypted both at rest and in transit. The Inspire X software, the Thrive app, the cloud account, and the communications between them incorporate the practices required and recommended for privacy and security.
